Let’s start on the Zvonárska Street that follows the traces of the town’s oldest town walls. Along the short Zvonárska Street, the more than metre-thick walls were strengthened by five towers open from inside. The Rodosto House was built on the basis of the Francis II Rákóczi’s Tekirdağ house. In front of the Rodosto house, the full size sculpture of the Francis II Rákóczi is situated. After returning back to the Calvinist Church, the most valuable monument of the town, a tourist sight, the Miklus’s prison can be seen. We will walk into the Hrnčiarska Street between the town's famous buildings, the Miklus's prison and the Calvinist Church. After leaving the Hrnčiarska Street, we will turn left and continue our walk on the Vodná Street. In front of the Franciscan Monastery, there stands the most beautiful building of the Main Street, the baroque two-storied palace the Captain’s Palace or Rákoczi Palace at present it houses the Slovak Technical Museum. We will continue our walk along some medieval houses; yet, at present, the houses hide behind a newer facade. The medieval scales, and the details presenting themselves to our eyes at the gateways reveal the houses’ age. Here, reaching the store and Zbrojničná Street on the opposite side, we got to the end of the medieval town. Once getting to the crossroads of the Zbrojničná, the Mäsiarska and the Baštová Streets, we will come across the statue of the town’s offspring, Márai Sándor. We will continue our walk on the Mäsiarska Street. We will immediately notice that we've found ourselves within the walls. Let’s walk in the direction of the Cathedral, up to the Löffler Museum. The museum’s permanent exhibition embraces, except for the artist's numerous creations, the collections of epoch-making self-portraits of painters painting in Košice in the 20th century. We will walk back to the next street corner and turn left to the Vrátna Street that follows the traces of the old town wall. We will get to the Main Street next to the Archaeological Museum.
