The beautifully restored courtyard has become a center of nightlife in Budapest. It was not always like this - in recent history it used to be an abandoned alley with only few inhabitants and gates that used to be closed at 22.00 pm meaning pedestrians could not cross it during the night. It offered an ideal spot for action scenes such as chases. Nowadays it is one of the most popular parts of the city, often hosting Hollywood stars among its guests.
